Tap Filtration System — In Development

Flow is the working name for our first system. It is being developed around problems identified in existing tap-mounted filtration: fitting, adapters, seals and parts you cannot replace on their own. Nothing here is available to purchase.

  • Tap filtration — in development
  • Replacement cartridges — in development
  • Adapters & seals — in development
  • Shower filtration — future development
  • Water testing — future development

The Flow family of concepts

Flow is being developed as a small family of related concepts: the tap filtration system itself, replacement cartridges, a universal tap adapter kit and a seal refresh kit. All are in development. Nothing is available to purchase, and no filtration performance is claimed.

Development objectives

These are the objectives we are designing towards — not verified finished-product specifications. Confirmed specifications will be published only after development and testing are complete.

  • Broader tap compatibility
  • Improved adapter design
  • Improved seals and leak resistance
  • Durable connector components
  • Attachment stability
  • Cartridge sealing
  • Practical filtered-water flow
  • Compact, lightweight design
  • Tool-free installation
  • Clear adapter identification
  • Replaceable components
  • Straightforward maintenance

Compatibility checker

Will it fit your tap?

Three questions, answered by looking at the end of your tap. This is guidance based on what you tell us, not a guarantee of fit.

1. Does the end of your tap unscrew?

The small insert at the tip of the spout is called an aerator. Try turning it anticlockwise by hand.

2. What shape is the end of the spout?

Look straight up at the tip of the tap.

3. What type of tap is it?

Pull-out spray heads and boiling-water taps are out of scope for tap-mounted filtration.

Where this tool is going

As the product and its adapter set are finalised, we intend to extend this checker with:

  • Thread measurement input (internal and external diameter)
  • Adapter identification from the measured thread
  • Recommended adapter for the answers given
  • A saved compatibility result you can refer back to
  • Step-by-step installation guidance for the identified fitting
